Carrying out a vital mission: support our employees, so they can best support our customers.The Pricing Project Analyst (Project Cargo) facilitates product growth by providing timely, competitive responses to quote requests from customers, supporting strategic initiatives, by preparing the logistic solution door to door of a Project Cargo. This position is a Procurement and Pricing Specialist for oversized/overweight pieces in 4 countries (Ecuador/Perú/Chile/Bolivia).Key responsibilities:Provide spot rate quotations on a timely and accurate manner.Procure Ocean Seafreight Rates from shipping lines (Containers, Break Bulk and/or Roll On Roll Off vessels)Procure on-shore services with vendors like port terminals, trucking companies (heavy hauliers), stuffing/unstuffing of OOG cntrsProvide pricing and product support to commercial teams, overseas network, and other internal/external stakeholders.Maintain Regional / Local pricing tools and drive efficiencies and improvements.Provide analytics and reporting regarding volume and margin trends.Collaborate with local Product (Product Managers / Product Developers) team.Makes independent analysis and pricing suggestions.Continuously optimize the pricing and quotation process and standardize it Model quantitative pricing scenarios and options, identifying recommendations for Sales teams to improve conversionCreate and manage pricing guidelines and processesIn collaboration with the implementation team, define likely implementation strategies, timelines and cost estimates.Coordinate across products and functions to ensure full solution can be presented to support the client pitchStrategic analytical & modelling capability, ability to translate complex requirements into tangible solutionsCooperating closely with colleagues and stakeholders in all Maersk offices and with manager and colleagues within MPL Performing supplier market analysis and organizing market intelligenceWe are looking for:3-5+ years’ experience in the design of Project Cargo solutionsHighly experienced in designing solutions for different areas like mining, energy, astronomy, etc.Extremely skilled MPL solution engineer, who has deep understanding of making process changes on productivity and financialsExposure of working in MPL or logistics operations including implementationInnovative in reaching conclusions and making recommendations based on limited and/or ambiguous data.English fluency is a mustMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
