About this Position We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations in Chile. This leadership role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the industrial sector, particularly in sales, business development, and operational management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's business operations, driving growth, developing sales strategies, and leading a team to ensure market leadership and profitability in the region. What you´ll do Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategic direction of the business in Chile, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives. Sales and Business Development: Drive sales growth, identify new business opportunities, and develop and execute strategies to expand the customer base within the industrial adhesives market. Market Expansion: Identify key markets and new customer segments within Chile and surrounding regions. Oversee market analysis and competitive intelligence. Operations Management: Manage day-to-day operations, including overseeing production, supply chain, logistics, and customer service to ensure smooth and efficient processes. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance. Ensure the business achieves profitability targets and operates efficiently. Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to all local regulations, safety standards, and company policies. What makes you a good fit Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or management within the industrial sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. Industry Knowledge: Strong background in the industrial adhesives industry or related manufacturing sectors is highly preferred. Sales Expertise: Proven track record of driving sales growth and expanding market share. Experience in managing complex sales processes and negotiating large-scale contracts. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, inspire high performance, and drive results in a dynamic business environment. Languages: Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken) is essential. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or other relevant advanced degrees are a plus. Location: Must be based in Chile or willing to relocate. Occasional travel within the region may be required.
