What you´ll do
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategic direction of the business in Chile, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
- Sales and Business Development: Drive sales growth, identify new business opportunities, and develop and execute strategies to expand the customer base within the industrial adhesives market.
- Market Expansion: Identify key markets and new customer segments within Chile and surrounding regions. Oversee market analysis and competitive intelligence.
- Operations Management: Manage day-to-day operations, including overseeing production, supply chain, logistics, and customer service to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance. Ensure the business achieves profitability targets and operates efficiently.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to all local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or management within the industrial sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong background in the industrial adhesives industry or related manufacturing sectors is highly preferred.
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record of driving sales growth and expanding market share. Experience in managing complex sales processes and negotiating large-scale contracts.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, inspire high performance, and drive results in a dynamic business environment.
- Languages: Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken) is essential.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or other relevant advanced degrees are a plus.
- Location: Must be based in Chile or willing to relocate. Occasional travel within the region may be required.
