You will inspire and ignite a love for learning in your students by:Keeping the pulse on the objectives and scope of every subject you teach. Your mission will be to bring these to life in your lessons, sparking curiosity and fuelling exploration.Planning, preparing, and delivering exciting and inclusive lessons, ensuring a wide coverage of all subjects. Be ready to experiment, adapt, and innovate!Regularly updating curriculum planners, ensuring that learning is always moving forward.Assigning, correcting, and marking student work, celebrating achievements and identifying areas for improvement.Adopting evidence-based teaching practices and keeping abreast of the latest educational research to continually improve your pedagogy.Establishing a regular system of monitoring, assessment, and record-keeping to track students’ development, progress, and behaviour.Crafting engaging and informative weekly class overviews and monthly class newsletters for parents, and contributing to the school's website, keeping our community connected with the joy of learning happening in your classroom.Taking on leadership roles for various activities as agreed with coordinators (assemblies, plays, hall displays, behaviour management data collection, etc.), showcasing your versatility and commitment to the school’s values.Being ready to step in as a substitute teacher when needed, demonstrating your flexibility and team spirit.Joining students on Residential field trips, creating memorable and educational experiences beyond the classroom.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required for this role.
