Overview

This position is key in providing leadership and coordination in using land and buildings effectively across all campuses.

Key Responsibilities

The individual will manage a large organization and oversee real estate and capital project initiatives.

Campus Planning

  • Strategically lead campus planning in line with the University’s mission.
  • Develop and implement the City of Boston Institutional Master Plan.

Real Estate Management

  • Oversee all University real estate and manage property negotiations.

Major Capital Projects

  • Provide direction for prioritizing and completing projects within budget.

Facilities Oversight

  • Lead operations for various facilities and develop long-term planning initiatives.

Resource Management

  • Ensure effective use of financial and staffing resources.
  • Oversee a $260M operating budget and manage capital projects valued at over $200M annually.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is desirable. The candidate should have at least 15 years of relevant experience.
