WHAT MAKES THE ROLE SPECIAL?


Group-IB Threat Intelligence is looking for a Cyber Intelligence Analyst to join our Cybercrime Research team to help us combat the cybercriminals operating in the Dark web and open sources. The preferred location is Santiago, Chile.

Threat Intelligence is a scope of data (or database) collected from various sources, processed and analyzed to provide a deep insight into adversary behavior, their motives, and attack tactics.

Cyber Threat Intelligence empowers security teams to make faster and data-driven cybersecurity decisions and switch from reactive to proactive approach to fighting against threat actors.

Group-IB Threat Intelligence Services provide unparalleled insight into threat actors and optimizes the performance of every component of your security with strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence.


TASKS TO SOLVE


  • Identify and investigate cyber threats on cybercrime resources using open source intelligence (OSINT) techniques, tools, and existing monitoring solutions.
  • Analyze detected cyber threats including data breaches, DDoS, fraud, phishing and ransomware attacks. Attribute the attacks to new and existing threat actors, determine their motivation and TTPs (tactics, techniques, and procedures). Identify major risks and recommendations for company's clients, enrich the data with detailed context.
  • Communicate privately with threat actors to obtain intelligence about possible threats and on-going cyber attacks.
  • Create threat intelligence reports with thorough and accurate analysis using research tools at your disposal.
  • Responding to customers RFIs.
  • Updating the knowledge base in the Threat Intelligence portal and internal WIKI
  • Participation in creating comprehensive reports
  • Updating one's toolkit to improve speed and work efficiency
  • Automating workflows or providing information how to do it
  • Writing blog posts
  • Participation in incident responses or investigations in cooperation with other


THIS ROLE IS PERFECT FOR YOU IF


  • You have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • You have proven experience in IT and/or Cybersecurity environment.
  • You have Understanding cybersecurity fundamentals (current threat landscape, vulnerabilities, malware types, default attack vectors, protection against cyber threats, etc).
  • You have extensive knowledge of such concepts as MITRE ATT&CK framework, Cyber Kill Chain, and TTP.
  • You are devoted to fighting Cybercrime.
  • You have desire to work in an international company with a global presence.
  • You have ability to work and communicate with remote teams.
  • You have fluency in Spanish and English.
