Technical Solution Architect
Job Overview
This role will partner, influence, and support project and leadership teams in strategy development and execution by providing subject matter business/technical expertise in Oracle Products, especially products that fall under OCI (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
Position Overview
- Client advocate that provides guidance around product expertise and translates Customer needs/requirements into integrated solutions.
- Responsible for understanding and translating Customers' business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs.
- Able to do fit gap analysis and come up with a roadmap to transition and implement a best fit solution that meets customer requirements.
- Act as an advocate for the Customer.
- Excellent understanding of Oracle Product set (Fusion, OCI, on-prem) to enable business process transformation discussions.
- Manage communication and focus of various teams ensuring project follows standard lifecycle (SDLC) from discovery to go-live activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Key leader, contributor, and proactive collaborator in defining and aligning functional and technical vision for the program solution.
- Provide strategy and solution support for Oracle SaaS products with a comprehensive understanding of related verticals.
- Participate in identifying systems and subsystems, validate technology assumptions, and evaluate alternatives.
- Align product roadmap with Oracle's release cycles and enhancements.
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end SDLC process.
- Work closely with management and contribute to strategic planning and goal setting.
- Drive Customer's workloads to Oracle Cloud, offering deployment guidance and overcoming blockers.
- Engage with a wide cross-section of internal and external partners to drive Oracle Cloud adoption.
- Manage large and complex service solution in a large enterprise.
- Possess excellent communication skills for interaction with technical and non-technical staff.
Technical and Professional Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 8+ years in the IT industry and 5 years demonstrated experience with OCI.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of IaaS, PaaS to SaaS integration frameworks.
- Record of working with Senior Business Leaders on technology roadmaps.
- Experience in leading Business Analysis and Application Development (SDLC).
- Success in delivering IT solutions on time and on budget.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Extensive remote environment experience.
- Ability to lead and articulate effectively.
