Technical Service Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

-Technical support and solution design: Collaborate with the sales team to visit customers, deeply explore the application scenarios and pain points of industrial and commercial energy storage, grid-side or household energy storage, and provide customized energy storage system solutions based on customer needs(such as load analysis, electricity fee structure, backup power time). Complete system capacity calculation, equipment selection, and preliminary layout design.

-Technical communication and presentation: Be responsible for the technical presentation of the company's products and solutions, clearly convey the technical advantages, operation logic, and investment return model of the company's products to customers (owners, design institutes, general contractors), and answer customers' technical questions regarding battery safety, system efficiency, and grid connection compliance.

- Project bidding support: Be responsible for the bidding of energy storage projects, independently prepare technical bids, bidding drawings, equipment lists, and technical deviation tables, and ensure the competitiveness and compliance of the technical solutions.

-Market information feedback: Track the policy dynamics, technical trends, and competitor information of the energy storage industry, regularly organize and feed back market demands to the R&D and product departments, and promote product iteration and optimization.

- Serve as the technical point of contact for customers, installers and business partners throughout the entire product lifecycle.

- Perform field installations, system tests and on-site troubleshooting to identify and resolve operational problems.

- Handle and process customer complaints; coordinate solutions and follow up to ensure timely resolution.

- Organize and manage spare parts, after-sales documentation, customer records and service data.

- Conduct field testing, collect performance information and report findings to internal teams for continuous improvement.

- Deliver after-sales technical training for dealers, installers and service partners on installation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation, New Energy Science and Engineering, etc.

-Have a certain level of understanding of the Chilean C&I/ PMGD/ Utility market.

-Be familiar with local regulations and safety standards, and be well-versed in the local certification system.

- Experience in energy storage, PV, inverter or electrical engineering is preferred.

-At least 3 years of experience in energy storage system integration, photovoltaic energy storage, or the power industry. At least 1 year of experience in pre-sales technical support or product management (excellent technical R&D personnel who have transferred to this position are also acceptable).

-Familiar with the basic working principles and selection standards of lithium-ion batteries, BMS (Battery Management System), PCS (Energy Storage Converter), EMS (Energy Management System).

-Familiar with relevant national standards and industry regulations for energy storage systems (such as fire protection, grid connection regulations).

-Proficient in using Auto CAD, Office and other office software, and able to understand primary and secondary electrical drawings.

-Comprehensive Qualities: Possess strong logical thinking ability and communication and expression skills, able to convert complex technical language into understandable customer language; able to adapt to short-term business trips.

- Strong technical understanding and hands-on capability for installation and troubleshooting.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to support both business customers and end users.

- Customer-oriented mindset, proactive attitude and ability to work independently.

- English required; additional languages are an advantage.
