What You Will Do

• Lead moderately large or complex projects and ensure the success of application rollouts.
• Determine and develop aligned recommended architectural approaches document current systems.
• Serve as technical architecture expert for software development/infrastructure teams.
• Assist project teams in estimating the architecture design effort and in developing/reviewing/approving architecture designs.
• Advise project teams on the application of standards/methodology practices to the project.
• Communicate and validate programmer architecture with Technology and Business executive level stakeholders.
• Use a broad and deep understanding of technical concepts in multiple specialized fields to develop solutions to problems and critical design issues.

What Experience You Need

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent job experience.
• 3+ years of experience in public cloud software development, with a total of 5+ years relevant experience.
• Experience monitoring infrastructure and application uptime.
• Proficiency in languages like Python, Ruby, Bash, Java, Go, Perl, JavaScript, and/or Node.js.
• Cross-functional knowledge with systems, storage, networking, security, and databases.
• Experience with OSS frameworks and microservice implementation styles.
• Message-driven application development experience.
• Proficient in CI/CD tooling and practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Cloud certification preferred.
