About The Team/Role

The Screenings Platform team at Checkr builds and maintains common tooling and features used by all of Checkr’s screening teams. As a Software Engineer Tech Lead on this team, you'll drive the technical architecture of complex, multi-system workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Own development of the product from ideation to release.
• Collaborate with Design, Product, and Data to deploy impactful features.
• Define technical initiatives to enable growth and address technical debt.
• Mentor engineers and spread best practices.
• Partner with product and engineering management in planning activities.
• Ensure the quality and scalability of our services.

What You Bring

• Fluent in English.
• Hybrid availability in Santiago (3 days/week).
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise in backend development (e.g., Ruby, Node.js).
• Strong sense of ownership and collaboration skills.

Pay Transparency Disclosure

Compensation ranges vary by location; details will be provided upon selection for discussion. Base Salary range in Santiago, Chile: $66,496,000 - $78,230,000 CLP.
