The Role

We seek an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. You'll integrate a newly acquired background check product into Checkr's ecosystem and develop a robust identity verification solution.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development from ideation to release
• Collaborate on designing new systems
• Maintain and enhance software
• Manage project deadlines and deliverables
• Deliver reliable, scalable, and secure code

Qualifications

• Fluency in English
• Hybrid work availability in Santiago, Chile
• 10+ years in software engineering, especially with Python
• Leadership and mentoring skills
• Scrum experience
• Hands-on AWS experience; knowledge of microservices and Kubernetes
• REST API design and CI/CD familiarity
• Experience with data stores like Postgres and MongoDB

Pay Transparency

Our base salary range in Santiago, Chile, is $66,496,000 - $78,230,000 CLP.
