Role Overview

As a leading provider of background data resources in the United States, Checkr supports consumer reporting agencies and businesses in making informed decisions. We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to integrate a recently acquired background check product into the Checkr ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Own product development from ideation to release
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers on new systems
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software
• Manage project priorities and deadlines
• Deliver reliable and scalable code

Qualifications

• Advanced English proficiency
• Hybrid work availability in Santiago, Chile
• 10+ years as a software engineer with Python experience
• Leadership skills and mentoring passion
• Scrum experience and AWS familiarity
• Understanding of microservices and REST APIs
• Experience with CI/CD and data stores
• Proficient in Git and PR/MR review process
• Desire to learn and innovate
