About This Role

We are looking for a Team Lead who will be responsible for guiding a squad through all phases of software development, from architecture and API design to delivery and performance enhancement. You'll utilize AI technologies to improve our development processes.

What You'll Do

• Lead the engineering team in constructing and maintaining the platform components that enable transactions for Xe's customers.
• Establish technical direction, overseeing architecture, API design, code reviews, and incident responses.
• Manage engineering delivery, collaborating with the Product Manager on project timelines and roadmap.
• Support engineer development through mentorship, regular feedback, and performance reviews.
• Encourage the adoption of AI tools in daily coding practices and enhance team performance.

What We're Looking For

Must-have

• 6 to 10+ years in building production software systems.
• Proven technical leadership experience.
• Expertise in backend development with C#/ .NET and frontend proficiency with Vue.js or React.
• Strong system design and architecture knowledge.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-have

• Experience in leading teams in payments or fintech sectors.
• Track record in hiring and onboarding engineers.
• Familiarity with modernizing legacy systems.
