Role Overview

As a Support Engineer, you're embedded within our Engineering department, engaging with customers on complex issues in GitLab environments. You'll collaborate closely with multiple teams to resolve bugs and build product features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support customers via Zendesk, email, and video conferencing
  • Work together with Product and Development teams to enhance features and fix bugs
  • Create and update documentation based on interactions
  • Participate in on-call support rotations
  • Assist in hiring processes by reviewing applications and conducting interviews

Qualifications

  • Experience managing customer support cases
  • Proficient in Linux systems administration
  • Knowledge of scripting (preferably Ruby or Bash)
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies
  • Ability to communicate complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
