About The Role
We're looking for a sharp and driven Associate to join our South Cone Strategy & Planning team, covering Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Our team is responsible for setting our long-term growth strategy, managing the annual planning cycle, and overseeing business forecasting and governance.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be an agile problem solver with a strong business sense. You should be able to quickly grasp complex challenges, recommend practical solutions, and see them through to completion. This role requires someone who can speak the languages of data, operations, and strategy equally well and can effectively navigate a diverse group of stakeholders to drive meaningful action and results.
What The Candidate Will Do
- Strategy: Work closely with leadership and S&P teams across Latam to build a shared vision and strategic approach for the region and run strategic, consulting-like projects.
- Planning: Build & maintain financial and operational models, operational reporting, OKRs, projections, and key business metrics to advise leadership decision making.
- Hands-on execution: Scale, build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting models to assist the operation while also stepping into operational gaps to help local teams implement strategic initiatives.
- Project management: Be a resourceful, go-getting multitasker, supporting strategic bets that are being incubated or require strategic leadership and support across the region.
- Develop Relationships: Collaborate with other functional areas (Business Development, People Operations, Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Rides, Eats, etc.) to ensure efficient and productive working relationships.
Basic Qualifications
- Analytical capabilities, including knowledge of statistics and comfort with SQL.
- Full proficiency in English.
- +3 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, process optimization, business intelligence, strategy, data science, etc.
- Stakeholder management and communication skills with exposure to senior partners and cross-functional teams.
- Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with forecasting tools and methodologies.
- A background in implementing process optimization frameworks is a plus.
- Skilled at defining solutions to complex, strategic topics using a deeply analytical and data-driven approach.
