Role Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work with Foundation teams to build and maintain Checkr’s core components. You will ensure software reliability, scalability, and performance, guiding teams in enhancing their services.

Typical Weekly Tasks

• Build and scale Checkr’s cloud infrastructure
• Automate processes and improve infrastructure operations
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in design reviews for new infrastructure services
• Debug production issues across the stack
• Ensure scalability and security
• Partner with developers to promote best practices
• Foster collaborative relationships with other teams
• Plan for infrastructure growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a DevOps engineer
• Experience in platform adoption via a product-first approach
• Technical architecture design skills
• Expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and more
• Advanced knowledge of web application security
• Mentoring desire for less-experienced Engineers
• Recent experience in programming languages like Golang, Python, or Ruby
• Advanced English communication
