Job Opportunity: OT Band 6 RotationWe are recruiting for an OT Band 6 rotation within acute services at Victoria Hospital and the HSCP in ICT at Whytemans Brae Hospital. The role involves working with the Acute Medical OT Team, the Integrated Community Team, and the Frailty Team within AU1, with rotations lasting 9 months in each area. An interest in working with a range of conditions, especially with patients living with frailty, is essential. The role focuses on developing specialist skills to deliver evidence-based care, optimize occupational performance, and support safe, timely hospital discharges. You will manage your own caseload, participate in multi-agency collaborations, and engage in quality improvement activities. There is also an opportunity to develop competencies in Physiotherapy and basic nursing skills to support integrated working. Engagement with weekend working is required, with flexible work patterns supported, including hybrid placements and selective home working for non-clinical tasks. The Frailty Team rotation involves a 12.5-hour shift pattern, including weekends. Travel within Fife is expected; the VHK is accessible from Lothian, Forth Valley, Dundee, and Perth, with car sharing often available.
