Job Responsibilities

Interpretation: Accurately interpret medical terminology and facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers.

Cultural mediation: Assist patients in navigating the healthcare system and help providers understand cultural nuances.

Confidentiality: Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Documentation: Document interpretation services, including date, time, and type of interpretation.

Professional development: Stay updated on medical terminology and healthcare practices.

Qualifications

Fluency in Spanish and English, experience in medical interpretation or translation, and knowledge of medical terminology are essential. Good communication skills and cultural sensitivity are vital.

Technical Requirements

15 Mbps Download and Upload speed, USB headset, a PC with a minimum of 8GB RAM, and an HD webcam are necessary.

Timings and Pay Rate

Hourly based program in the EST Time Zone, with a pay rate of 5 USD per hour.

Terms and Conditions

This is an Independent Contractor Position requiring interpretation services over the phone and video. Training starting on 9th April 2026 is paid. Attendance and QA bonuses are offered. Leave is not permitted during the first month, except in emergencies.
