Join our dynamic team as a Solution Architect, responsible for designing and optimizing API management solutions using the Kong API Management Platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of API solutions leveraging Kong’s API Management Platform.
• Establish best practices for API management and security.
• Develop scalable architecture solutions tailored to business needs.
• Deploy Kong API Gateway, including plugin configuration.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure effective API lifecycles.
• Optimize API performance using Kong features.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication for alignment.
• Convey architectural approaches to stakeholders.
• Mentor new team members and guide developers.

Requirements

• 8+ years in IT, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
• 2+ years managing teams of 20+ employees.
• Experience in at least 5 full-cycle projects.
• Proficiency in DevOps and CI/CD for API deployment.
• Strong skills in the Kong API Management Platform.
• Advanced API design skills (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).
• Hands-on with Kong plugins.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with observability tools.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Kong Certified Professional certification.
• Experience with other API management tools.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
