What is this role like?

As a Software Engineer on the Infrastructure team, you will own and build the systems crucial for Topsort's real-time auction engine. Your work ensures reliability and performance—every detail counts.

What You'll Do

• Own the platform: Design and maintain foundational infrastructure.
• Raise reliability: Implement monitoring systems and lead postmortems.
• Make deployments boring: Build fail-proof CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage infrastructure as code: Utilize tools like Terraform for cloud infrastructure.
• Enable developers: Create tools that enhance developer efficiency.
• Harden security: Enforce best practices at all levels.
• Scale proactively: Plan and tune systems before demand surges.
• Participate in on-call: Engage actively in production support.

Qualifications for Success

• Bachelor's in a relevant field and 2–5 years of software engineering experience focused on infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud providers.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and observability tooling.
• A security-focused mindset.
