About the Role
Join the Xbox Experiences and Platform Commerce (XPC) as a Software Engineer II specializing in Catalog & UGC (User-Generated Content). Work with a dynamic team to build scalable distributed services that drive innovation in gaming.
Mission
We aim to empower game creators in engaging players and monetizing games effectively. Your role is crucial in designing and operating reliable services for game studios and developers.
Collaboration
Work closely with various teams, including our SDK, Tools, Portals, and LiveOps, as well as both first-party and third-party studios. This role encourages collaboration across Xbox Live, Game Pass, and our Program Management teams.

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work comfortably from home!

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years delivering quality software in a professional setting.
- 1-2 years programming in C#, C, C++, or Java.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Linux, Azure, or AWS.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- A collaborative team player eager to learn and share knowledge.
- Proficient in English for global collaboration.
Preferred:
- 2 years experience with .NET Framework or .NET CORE.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and cloud technologies.
