Social Media Coordinator
Location: Fully Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 6 PM EST
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage content calendars for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc)
- Create and schedule posts that align with brand messaging, help drive the business, or further engage with our audience.
- Monitor, engage with, and respond to followers on social media channels.
- Track social media performance and report on metrics to refine strategies.
- Assist with running paid social media campaigns and ad management, as needed.
- Coordinate with various teams and management internally to ensure alignment on advertising priorities and social strategy.
- Stay up-to-date on current industry events, news with key partners, and relevant product launches.
- Stay up-to-date on trends and new social media tools to enhance strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in the consumer electronics or tech industry.
- Experience with paid social ads (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with platforms such as Reddit and Twitch.
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies.
- Previous social media experience in the consumer electronics industry within a retail environment.
- Consistent Brand Voice: Social media posts and engagements consistently reflect the company’s tone, values, and mission while resonating with the target audience.
- Increased Engagement: Measurable improvement in audience engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments, and overall interaction) across all platforms.
- Effective Campaigns: Paid social campaigns achieve or exceed KPIs, including reach, impressions, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Data-Driven Strategies: Social media strategies are continuously refined using insights from performance metrics, demonstrating adaptability and a results-oriented approach.
- Seamless Collaboration: Internal coordination ensures social media campaigns align with marketing priorities and product launches.
- Trend Leadership: The company is seen as an industry leader in adopting innovative social media practices, and leveraging emerging tools and trends.
