Program Overview

We are seeking our next Shipping Trainee for the 2025 Program, a 14-month intensive course that combines theoretical and practical training.

Theoretical Training

The theoretical training includes in-house sessions and e-learning, covering:

• Shipping Fundamentals
• Fleet Vessels
• Voyage Economics
• Technical Principles in Operations
• Bunker Procurement
• Cargo Handling
• Legal Principles of Shipping
• Commercial Shipping Relations
• Energy & Fuel

Practical Training

Practical sessions at Ultranav’s office provide hands-on experience, with rotations through various departments and dedicated tutors for support.

International Experience

Experience abroad at one of our international offices will offer valuable commercial insights.

Work Environment

We emphasize strong social connections and encourage participation in social events and sports activities.

Candidate Expectations

We expect candidates to have:

• A degree in Foreign Trade, Logistics, or a related field
• 0–1 year of relevant experience
• An advanced level of English
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• A proactive attitude & strong team spirit
