O3 World is seeking a Senior WordPress & WooCommerce Developer for a part-time freelance position, supporting two client engagements with the potential to grow into ongoing work.

You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team tasked with assessing, maintaining, and enhancing custom WordPress and WooCommerce implementations.

Responsibilities:

WooCommerce Medical Kit Store:

• Conduct a full technical audit (bulk order forms, API integrations, code/plugin/theme health).
• Deliver documented recommendations on code quality, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with internal developers on feature roadmap delivery.
• Support transition to retainer-based support and feature development.
  
  

Donation & Lead Generation WordPress Site:

• Maintain and enhance a simpler WordPress site.
• Improve CMS/editor usability and site performance.
• Ensure proper integration with HubSpot or similar tools.
  
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with WordPress (custom themes and plugins).
• Expertise in PHP and WooCommerce.
• Comfortable reading API documentation and integrating endpoints.
• Experience with bulk ordering, custom checkout flows, and user role logic.
• Strong skills in code audits, technical scoping, and discovery.
• Proficient with Git/version control.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
