About The Role

This underwriting organization focuses on delivering a best-in-class customer experience for new life insurance applications. The Sr. Underwriting Consultant assesses medical and financial risks while supporting sales.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex applications independently within approval authority.
• Analyze and interpret information for comprehensive assessments.
• Manage change and negotiate positive results.
• Organize and manage a large caseload effectively.
• Provide training on underwriting topics.

Skills And Qualifications

• 5+ years of life underwriting experience.
• Experience with brokerage distribution marketplace.
• Required approval authority up to $5,000,000.
• FLMI, FALU and/or CLU designations preferred.

Compensation

Salary range: $108,000 to $118,000, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.

Work Location

This position is currently designated as remote.
