Overview

You’ll join an expert annotation team to create training data for the world's most advanced AI models. No previous AI experience is necessary. You'll gain access to one of the most prominent players in the AI/LLM space. We seek software engineers with 4+ years of experience to train large AI language models. Projects typically involve solving discrete coding problems with these models.

What Will I Be Doing?

• Evaluating AI-generated code quality.
• Solving coding problems and writing efficient code.
• Creating test cases to confirm code functionality.
• Engaging in varied projects, from code evaluation to full application development.

Pay Rates

• Pay rates depend on location and seniority; see this list.
• Expectations of 15+ hours per week with flexibility up to 40+ hours. Weekly payment based on hours worked.

Contract Length

• Long term with no set end date, expecting work for the next 2 years.
• Contracts can be ended at any time, with a preference for a 12-month commitment.

Flexible Schedules

• Developers can set their own hours, ideally aiming for 40 hours a week.
• Flexibility with breaks and tracking based on performance on coding exercises.

Interview Process

1. Apply using the Ashby form.
2. Complete an async RLHF code review within 72 hours if selected.
3. Receive platform credentials and join a group call for onboarding questions.
4. Complete a simulated production-level task for final interview assessment.

Tech Stack Priorities

• Priority for software engineers proficient in Python.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, OR Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering/STEM with 4+ years of experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Attention to detail and consistency in writing.
• Solid understanding of grammar and style.
• Proficiency in Python.
