About the Role

As a Sr Software Engineer at Checkr, you will play a crucial role in our mission to build the data platform of the future. Collaborating with engineers and product teams, you will design and implement new platform capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Develop new platform capabilities from design through launch.
• Balance speed to market with long-term growth.
• Collaborate with product teams to define initiatives.
• Ensure system reliability and address support requests.
• Guide junior engineers and participate in continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Fluent in English and 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Proficient in Ruby, Golang, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of databases, data structures, algorithms, and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in React and experience in system architecture.
• Ability to make informed decisions and draft technical proposals.

Pay Transparency Disclosure

We provide a pay range based on geographic labor costs. The salary range for this role in Santiago, Chile is CLP $49.980.000 - $58.800.000.
