We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to enhance our client's legacy products and support migration to a new platform.

Join our team and play a key role in the operation and development of PHP solutions while migrating existing products to a new platform. You will collaborate with various teams, including Solution Architects and Product Owners, to deliver efficient and effective solutions. Responsibilities

• Read and analyze the client's legacy product, primarily written in PHP, and provide enhancements
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, performance, and stability issues while proposing architecture improvements
• Support the development of new product features and communicate with Solution Architects and Product Owners
• Assist with new client onboarding and customize solutions based on client requests
• Collaborate with another EPAM team developing the Next Gen Claims Pay product in .NET and contribute to the project roadmap
• Work closely with a vendor and development teams based in India
• Engage with clients, particularly from the USA, to represent EPAM's capabilities
• Support the migration process from Amazon Web Services to Microsoft Azure
• Review current architectural solutions and advise on best practices
  
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in PHP development, including OPCache/APC, PHP linters
• Experience with MySQL, including transactions and logging
• Skills in profiling and refactoring with xDebug and xhprof
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Ability to work with Docker at an intermediate level
• English proficiency for client communication
• Experience working with American clients in a client-facing role
