Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
• Track and trace Order Management files
• Ensure timely clearance and delivery of freight for Import shipments
• Send documents timely and communicate arrival notices for Export shipments
• Bill clients and vendors accurately and timely
• Interact with customers to arrange international shipments
• Meet compliance with regulations and internal policies
• Look for efficiencies in department process flow
• Follow and update customers' standard operating procedures
• Meet KPI standards as per company guidelines

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience
• Understanding of ocean documentation process is a plus
• Proactive with strong organizational skills
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Hazardous Materials certification preferred
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to help
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional Customer Service attitude
