About the Role
As a Senior Informatica Developer, you will play a key role in developing and supporting ETL processes for our enterprise data warehouse. Responsibilities
- Develop new ETL processes and enhance existing code using Informatica PowerCenter
- Work independently to configure and unit test programs based on specifications
- Collaborate with data architects and application teams on ETL development
- Design and document ETL solutions, estimate work effort, and provide task status
- Provide technical support for Informatica administration and production environments
- Conduct first and second level troubleshooting and operational support
- Adhere to best practices in ETL development methodologies
- Present work in design and code review sessions with senior team members
- Prepare documentation that supports the code developed
- Identify and implement improvements to the data warehouse environment
- Escalate issues to appropriate parties when necessary
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in ETL development for data warehousing
- 3+ years of experience in maintaining and enhancing Informatica mappings and workflows
- Proficiency in complex SQL
- Expertise in integration technologies and processes
- Familiarity with Query Surge
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of testing tools and techniques
- Understanding of Kimball design methodology
- Experience with Windows environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
