Responsibilities
Communicate with clients and handle their requests promptly
Collaborate effectively with team members and share knowledge
Write clean, fast, compatible, and testable code
Maintain and contribute to documentation within the codebase and externally
Mentor and be mentored by engineers, leading technical discussions
Own, create, and review technical design proposals and proof of concepts
Understand business requirements and work closely with stakeholders
Make smart engineering and product decisions based on data analysis
Improve engineering standards and processes continuously
Bring an agile, iterative, and curious mindset to challenges
Serve as a subject matter expert within your squad and beyond
Participate in production support rotations and lead incident investigation and resolution
Requirements
3+ years of Go Language development
Proficiency in Python development
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
Strong knowledge of the HTTP request/response lifecycle
Ability to write microservices from the ground up
Skill in driving and participating in architecture discussions
Capability in providing production support, incident debugging, and resolution
Ability to work independently with clients without supervision
Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher
Nice to have
Knowledge of gRPC and Protocol Buffers
GraphQL development skills
Kubernetes familiarity
DataDog debugging, tracing, and dashboard creation
Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and Amazon Redshift databases
