Responsibilities

The developer team seeks a Software Engineer to enhance the Xbox commerce experience for gamers and creators.

• Learn various tools and technologies to create diverse customer experiences.
• Implement, validate, and release high-quality product features.
• Adhere to modern engineering principles and collaborate actively with team members.
• Contribute to a flexible and inclusive culture, mentoring junior developers.

Qualifications

Required:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in software development for end-user applications.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming.
• Experience with cloud services and deployment pipelines (Azure preferred).

Preferred:

• Experience shipping cross-platform applications.
• Knowledge of gaming-specific challenges, including responsive design and diverse input methods.
