About the Role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Lumenalta, you will play a crucial role in architecting and managing cloud-based systems on AWS. Your responsibilities will include implementing CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure deployment using tools like Terraform and AWS CDK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, and RDS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Kubernetes Orchestration: Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, setting up clusters and managing scaling and deployment strategies.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate application builds, testing, and deployments.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform or AWS CDK to automate cloud resource provisioning.
• Monitoring & Observability: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance.
• Security & Compliance: Establish security best practices for cloud infrastructure.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to optimize the development pipeline.
• Automation & Optimization: Automate operational processes and optimize cloud resource usage.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation and mentor junior DevOps engineers.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, with a strong focus on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in managing AWS services such as EC2 and Lambda.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Extensive experience with IaC tools.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and monitoring solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certifications are a plus.
• Experience with serverless technologies.
• Knowledge of other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with additional DevOps tools.
• Experience with database management.
