Our office in Santiago is looking for a Senior Cost Estimator Engineer to lead innovative solutions and deliver high-quality projects for our internal, existing, and new clients. This role will build and strengthen commercial awareness and take responsibility for coaching and technically developing the team. Working with an energetic and high-performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Develop cost (Capex) and/or operations (Opex) estimates, ranging from Class 5 to Class 1 estimates.Perform unit price analysis.Generate deliverables with technical and formal quality, in line with internal and client procedures.Prepare all necessary information, such as Estimation Bases, Capex reports, Opex reports, or any other required for each service.Knowledge of labor performance.Knowledge of construction equipment and material performance.Maintain a database for use in future similar projects.Knowledge of contingency analysis using Monte Carlo Simulation, not mandatory.Clearly understand the scope of the service and the client.Proficient in Excel and Word.Experience in workshop presentations with clients (Capex, Opex).What you will bring to the team: Professional degree in Industrial, Civil, Construction Engineering, or related field.At least 10 years of experience in Cost Estimation.Advanced proficiency in Mining Clients Estimation Templates; Excel, preferably Power BI.Knowledge and skills in risk analysis and estimating software such as @risk, Crystal Ball, HeavyBid among others.Teamwork orientation, cooperation, and customer focus, understanding multicultural work.Problem-solving focus, with minimal supervision.Flexibility and ability to manage competing priorities.Advanced English.Take on some of the world's toughest challenges - with everyone at GHD backing you every step of the way.
