About the Role

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) guiding customers in identifying TMS solutions.
• Offer insights and recommendations on TMS capabilities and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand logistics workflows and requirements.
• Assess integration strategies with existing systems.
• Assist in evaluating TMS vendors based on various criteria.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation for decision-making.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions for stakeholder alignment.
• Identify risks associated with TMS implementation and provide mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with client teams to gather business requirements.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and guide configuration teams.
• Provide thought leadership in supply chain planning.
• Liaise with various teams to ensure smooth implementation.

Qualification

• An advanced degree (B.S. or B.E Minimum, Masters preferred).
• Understanding in configuring TMS solutions.
• At least 5+ years of experience with transportation management systems.

Skill Set

Domain Expertise

• Understanding of Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Knowledge of logistics operations, including international logistics.
• Familiarity with freight audit, rate engines, and carrier management.

ERP & WMS Integration

• Experience integrating TMS with Oracle ERP systems.
• Understanding of custom WMS environments.
• Knowledge of system integration workflows.

Functional & Technical Skills

• Ability to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Experience in configuration, testing, and post-implementation support.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and SaaS-based solutions.

Consulting & Advisory

• Experience in TMS platform evaluation.
• Ability to lead workshops and stakeholder engagements.
• Experience in change management and process optimization.

Project & Communication Skills

• Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to present complex solutions to diverse audiences.

Certifications & Tools (Preferred)

• Certifications in relevant TMS platforms.
• Familiarity with project management tools.
