We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior BI Analyst to join our innovative team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives, gather requirements, and outline project goals
• Examine and document business processes, workflows, and system interactions
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and propose creative, data-focused solutions
• Lead workshops, conduct stakeholder interviews, and manage requirements-gathering efforts
• Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, user stories, and use cases
• Act as a key link between business teams and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Convert business requirements into functional specifications for development teams
• Assist in solution implementation and testing to ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations
• Oversee projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high standards

 

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a BI Analyst, preferably in the insurance sector
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and writing prototype queries, including joins, aggregates, and basic window functions
• Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture, including ETL/ELT processes, Data Lakes, Data Marts, star and snowflake schemas, and the distinction between fact and dimension tables
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations
• Familiarity with data quality concepts such as accuracy, consistency, completeness, and timeliness, as well as experience with validation or user acceptance testing of reports
• Ability to translate business needs into KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks
• Experience analyzing data models, including ER diagrams and relationships between entities
• Knowledge of master data, reference data, and metadata management principles
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Proven ability to independently suggest new ideas, improvements, and innovative solutions
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
• English fluency at B2 level or higher for effective collaboration and communication
