The Opportunity

Join our talent network and connect with U.S. clients for flexible, project-based development work as a Senior Backend Engineer - Laravel & Go Microservices. You will integrate directly into our client's team and collaborate with their designers and engineers daily.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Advanced English is required.
• Four-year college degree is required.
• Experience in Laravel and PHP for monolithic backends.
• Experience converting monolithic applications into Go Microservices.
• Ability to scale backend infrastructure for high traffic.
• Experience with on-call engineering rotation duties.
• Familiarity with payment support pipelines is a plus.
• Exposure to frontend or mobile stacks like Next.js or React Native is a plus.
• Experience with AI coding assistants is a plus.
• Availability to work standard business hours aligned with Pacific Time (PT).
• Able to solve complex issues and contribute to libraries.
• Experience in continuous integration and application delivery.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• Positive mindset and can-do attitude.
• Agile/Scrum team experience.
• Experience in large, complex systems.
• Demonstration of ownership over work.
• Identification with FullStack's client goals.

Nice To Have

We seek engineers who are enthusiastic about AI in their workflow. Experience with tools like Cursor, Windsurf, or Google Antigravity is a plus.
