Soft skills are as important as technical abilities at ZeroFox.Role and ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with industry experts in security, machine learning, digital risk protection, and cyber threat intelligence to develop and implement security strategies for our products.Acquire in-depth knowledge of our product architectures and contribute to secure design and development practices.Research and implement cutting-edge security solutions to enhance our products' security posture and make the internet safer.Act as a technical leader, guiding key decisions and mentoring team members.Lead security assessments, code reviews, and threat modeling for new and existing products.Drive the technical direction of product and application security organization-wide.RequirementsRequired qualifications and skillsMotivated, communicative, teamwork-oriented professionals comfortable working in agile environments.Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field, or equivalent experience.8+ years of software development and security experience.Deep understanding of cloud security architecture, protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, vulnerabilities, and remediation.Experience with secure coding practices and SDLC methodologies.Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO.Good communication, collaboration, and presentation skills in English.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.Desired qualifications and skillsExperience with Python, JavaScript, or Go; familiarity with Django or Angular is a plus.Experience with security tools like static analyzers, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing tools.Certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or GIAC certifications.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.Equivalent experience to the above skills is also valued.
