CETO (Connected Engineering and Transformation Office), a part of Cisco IT, holds a broad charter focused on developing a scalable CRM architecture that facilitates seamless Go-To-Market (GTM) collaboration. The office drives enterprise-wide data governance practices and delivers technical solutions that empower Cisco’s GTM teams and partners to operate efficiently and optimally.
Your Impact
The Scrum Lead will guide Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions by facilitating Scrum processes, encouraging collaboration, and driving continuous improvement. This role embodies Cisco’s IT Ways of Working and Guiding Principles to ensure innovation, accountability, and durable growth aligned with Cisco’s strategic priorities!
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration and delivery.
- Act as a servant leader and coach to Agile teams, promoting self-organization, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and multi-functional teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on goals and priorities.
- Remove impediments and develop an environment that enables teams to implement with quality and urgency.
- Drive the adoption of Cisco’s Guiding Principles.
- Support the creation and refinement of user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance requirements.
- Use data-driven metrics to track team performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Foster a culture of feedback, coaching, and career development in line with Cisco’s leadership expectations.
- Leverage Cisco tools and platforms (e.g., Jira Cloud, Workday) to manage Agile workflows and team information efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Lead, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach in a technology environment.
- Solid understanding of Agile frameworks, Scrum practices, and software development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco experience or knowledge of Cisco’s internal tools and culture.
- Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM) or Agile methodologies.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to removing obstacles.
