Job Title: SAP SCM (MM/WM, Logistics/Procurement) Functional Consultant

Location: LATAM (Remote with Monthly Travel to Santiago, Chile)

Type: 6-Month Contract (Freelancer)

Rate: $40–$45 USD/hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP SCM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in MM (Materials Management) and WM (Warehouse Management), focusing on Logistics and Procurement. You will support a Global Template implementation project in Chile. This is a freelance contract role, ideal for professionals based in LATAM who are available to travel one week per month to Santiago. The consultant will play a key role in aligning SAP solutions with local business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, realization, Go-Live, and Hypercare phases of an SAP deployment in Chile.
• Plan and facilitate workshops/meetings with internal stakeholders alongside the Supply Chain workstream lead.
• Identify solution gaps and recommend creative, effective workarounds where the existing Global Template does not meet local business requirements.
• Customize and configure SAP MM and WM modules to align with real-world business processes.
• Lead and support testing activities: unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Offer expertise in product configuration and process improvement.
• Collaborate with other workstreams to ensure integration with Commercial, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined experience in Supply Chain, ERP, Warehouse Management, and Procurement.
• Strong SAP MM/WM knowledge, including inbound/outbound processing, inventory control, RF transactions, HU management, and production integration.
• Deep understanding of SAP Procurement for both direct and indirect processes, subcontracting, and consignment.
• Hands-on SAP ECC configuration experience with cross-functional integration exposure.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of ABAP.
• Experience with SAP data migration tools such as LSMW and BDC for both master and transactional data.

Travel Requirements

• Must be willing and able to travel one full week per month to Santiago, Chile.
• On-site work hours are Monday 9:00 AM to Friday 4:00 PM at a manufacturing location outside downtown Santiago.
• Flexibility to adjust to global time zones when necessary due to the nature of the deployment team.
