About The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to own and optimize the company's Salesforce backend architecture and operations. This is a fully remote contractor role (part-time or full-time) ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex integration challenges, and is passionate about building clean, scalable automations. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across Sales Ops, Tech, and Product to ensure the Salesforce platform remains efficient, reliable, and future-proof.

Key Responsibilities

• Own all backend Salesforce development, automation, and system logic
• Design and implement scalable backend solutions using Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and LWC
• Build and maintain robust Salesforce integrations with third-party tools and platforms (e.g., AWS, Twilio, etc.)
• Manage API connections, OAuth flows, Connected Apps, and data pipelines
• Develop and maintain Salesforce Flows, batch jobs, triggers, and validation rules
• Troubleshoot and resolve sync issues, routing errors, and field mapping conflicts
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate business needs into backend logic
• Implement CI/CD best practices using GitHub, VS Code, Gearset, and SFDX
• Monitor system performance and proactively address reliability or hygiene issues
• Ensure high data integrity, platform security, and automation scalability
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development experience with a focus on Salesforce architecture
• Advanced proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Deep understanding of Salesforce API integrations (REST/SOAP), OAuth, and Connected Apps
• Experience working with Salesforce DevOps, Flow, platform monitoring, and security features
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based deployment tools
• Comfortable working in legacy orgs and refactoring existing systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and a high degree of ownership
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
