Purpose of the Role
The primary objective of this role is to develop and expand the Blood Bank business across Southern Chile, driving procedural growth, strengthening relationships with healthcare institutions, and providing specialized clinical support in the use of the company’s technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Development & Account Management
- Drive sales growth and business development across assigned accounts in hospitals, clinics, and blood centers.
- Develop and implement territory and account strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to expand procedures and introduce new technologies.
- Analyze market dynamics and monitor competitive activities.
- Clinical Support
- Provide hands-on clinical support during procedures related to blood bank technologies and apheresis.
- Train healthcare professionals in the appropriate use of the company’s products and systems.
- Support product implementations and technology rollouts in hospitals and blood centers.
- Strategic Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with physicians, medical technologists, nurses, and clinical leaders.
- Understand clinical workflows and institutional needs to propose effective solutions.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure successful execution of commercial strategies.
Region
The role covers the Southern Chile territory, including key locations such as Concepción, Temuco, Valdivia, Osorno, and Puerto Montt. Regular travel is required to support customers and develop business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (Medical Technologist) – mandatory.
- Specialization or professional experience in Blood Bank is highly preferred.
- Experience: Clinical experience in Blood Bank environments or related procedures (e.g., apheresis, transfusion medicine).
- Experience or strong interest in commercial roles within the healthcare or medical device industry.
- Previous interaction with hospital environments and clinical teams.
