About The Role

In this role, you will join a long-term initiative in collaboration with a globally recognized industry leader. The project focuses on advancing physical AI and multi-fleet management systems, aimed at significantly enhancing the performance and efficiency of outdoor vehicles.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of robotics, AI, and real-world hardware, where solutions go beyond simulation into practical application. The team is involved not only in building new capabilities but also in retrofitting existing systems with intelligent components, bringing innovation to already deployed equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Work with digital twins of real systems
  • Lead process modeling and optimization
  • Design and develop solutions for diverse robotics and industrial systems
  • Build rapid prototypes and production-ready solutions
  • Test robotics and industrial solutions in simulation and real-world environments
  • Design automated robotic systems to enhance production and precision within specific industries
  • Research the latest trends and modern approaches in robotics, including control, motion planning, sensing, decision-making, and performance optimization of robotic components or industrial systems.

Requirements

  • Expert in any of C++, Python, Julia programming languages with a minimum of 6 years in software development, including in system programming and real-time systems
  • Experienced in modeling continuous, discrete, and event-driven systems with a proven record
  • Proficient in simulation techniques and frameworks such as Matlab/Simulink, Mathematica, Modelica, Ansys, and OpenFOAM
  • Skilled in physics-based simulations using tools like Gazebo, Nvidia Isaac, or V-REP
  • Confident in numerical methods, concurrent programming, and component-oriented programming
  • Highly capable of understanding and implementing complex and efficient algorithms
  • Familiar with control, estimation theory, and optimization techniques for linear and nonlinear systems
  • Well-versed in robotics system development
  • Knowledgeable about Unix (Linux) systems
  • Familiar with distributed control systems
  • Aware of testing practices, Continuous Integration, Build & Deployment, and monitoring of complex systems
  • A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
