Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed patient assessments to diagnose a range of rheumatic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and gout.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans, including pharmacologic therapies and procedural interventions.
  • Perform joint injections, arthrocentesis, and other related procedures safely and effectively.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic patient-centered care.
  • Participate in research activities and stay current with advancements in rheumatology.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Rheumatology.
  • Valid and active medical license.
  • Minimum of 3 years' clinical experience in rheumatology.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of autoimmune and inflammatory rheumatic diseases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
