Commercial Negotiation Specialist (Leading SaaS Platform)
This is not a purely transactional role. We are seeking a high-impact, commercially astute negotiation specialist who owns the outcome of every renewal for a leading SaaS platform. You will be the commercial voice of our organization, responsible for protecting and growing our most valuable customer relationships.
You must possess the confidence, acuity, and presence to engage with sophisticated customer procurement teams and executive stakeholders, ensuring that the platform’s strategic value is fully realized in every agreement.

💼 Responsibilities: Own the Outcome
You will be primarily responsible for the execution and successful outcome of the commercial renewal cycle for a dedicated portfolio of high-value customers using our SaaS platform.
- Renewal Ownership: Manage the entire renewal lifecycle, from initial engagement and value review through final commercial negotiation and contract signature.
- Revenue Protection & Growth: Aggressively pursue full-value renewals while identifying and partnering with Account Executives on expansion opportunities (upsells, cross-sells).
- Value Defense: Collaborate internally with Sales, Legal, and Finance to build robust financial and commercial justifications that defend price and value against competitive pressure and procurement scrutiny.
- Process Accountability: Maintain meticulous forecasting and accountability for all assigned commercial outcomes, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
💡 Ideal Background Profile
We are looking for individuals who have historically owned a quota, revenue target, or commercial outcome as a primary job function.
- Experienced Negotiators: Former "Old-school" Account Managers or Renewal Managers with a proven track record of complex, high-stakes commercial negotiations.
- Commercial CSMs: Customer Success Managers who were explicitly responsible for owning, negotiating, and closing renewals or expansions and operated under a commercial quota or MBO.
- SaaS Environment Exposure: Experience operating within a fast-paced SaaS environment, accustomed to the commercial dynamics of subscription-based revenue.
