What You’ll Do:

As the Remote Core-Logger, you will be responsible for interpreting and describing scanned diamond drill core using the Digital Core Table. This role will be remote and involves leveraging scan data, such as RGBs, Lidar, hyperspectral, XRF, and Advanced Products to deliver high-quality core descriptions. You will focus on maintaining logging consistency while driving value through accurate and efficient core-logging. Success in this position requires a solid foundation in geology with knowledge of Skarn deposits, a strong understanding of GeologicAI Core Table and Advanced Products, and excellent communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Describe the diamond drill core using the Digital Core Table as set out in the client and GeologicAI logging procedures.
• Distribute Daily Summaries on the Core Logging advancements to the client.
• Carry out geological activities, and workflows per project requirements.
• Constant communication with the Applied Geoscience team, including progress updates and compiling weekly reports.
• Interact and communicate with client Geologists on site as required.
• Review and perform the Depth Correction on holes logged and review overall quality of geotechnical data.
• Evaluate advanced product performance while logging and provide feedback to Product Managers to improve remote logging workflows.
• Export and maintain description data on client FTP.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field.
• Strong English communication (Reading, Writing, Speaking).
• Previous logging experience is required.
• Knowledge of Skarn Deposits, geological processes, mapping, modelling and data interpretation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building relationships.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on productivity, and quality and client satisfaction.
• Familiarity with industry-standard geological software and tools like Digital Core Table ioGas, Leapfrog, DHlogger, RMSP, and AcQuire.
