MineARC Systems (www.minearc.com) is the global leader in controlled environments to the mining, tunnelling, chemical processing, disaster relief, and biotechnology industries. We specialize in the manufacture and supply of emergency refuge chambers, safe havens, disaster shelters, and growth chambers, as well as a range of remote monitoring, tracking and communications technologies.
We are currently looking for a passionate Sales Engineer for the Mining and Tunneling industries in South America.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the sale of our products in the region.
- Build new customer relationships.
- Regularly travel to mine/project sites for sales meetings, technical and service visits, technical training to clients. Also in charge and responsible of related expos.
- Implementation of a strategic business plan for the region for capital and ancillary sales in the mining and tunneling industries to achieve the sales budget.
- Maintain updated the company CRM.
- Work together with the Engineering Department to manage and lead custom proposals.
- Development of future strategic plans for the business in the region.
- Logistics an inventory control.
To be successful you need meet the following:
- Become a technical reference for our clients.
- Advanced in English speaking is mandatory.
- At least 4 years experience in equipment sales for the mining industry.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect new clients.
- Ability to develop relationship in all the levels of the customers organization, including senior management positions.
- Social and negotiation skills.
- Self motivated.
- Availability to travel regularly.
- Experience in private and state owned mining companies tender processes.
- Ability to perform conferences, trainings, speeches.
- Experience in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Softland, SAP.
