Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for a Regional Sales Manager for South America – Industrial Air Compressors.
- Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to expand market presence in Brazil and the Southern Cone region.
- Leverage existing distributor relationships to foster partnerships and drive dramatic growth within their customer bases.
- Identify and engage new distributor opportunities to enhance brand visibility and market penetration.
- Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective promotional campaigns tailored to regional markets.
- Provide training and ongoing support to distributor sales teams, enhancing product knowledge and sales skills.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets
Qualifications:
We are seeking a seasoned and highly connected Regional Sales Manager for the fastest-growing air compressor brand in the industry. This role requires an individual with a robust network of distributors and strong personal relationships that can facilitate growth within established customer bases, particularly in Brazil and other 50Hz countries in the Southern Cone. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and results-oriented professional with a proven track record of driving sales in the industrial air compressor sector.
- Minimum of 10 years of sales management experience in the industrial air compressor sector.
- Extensive network of distributors and industry contacts in South America, particularly in Brazil and the Southern Cone.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and clients.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, travel extensively and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese proficiency is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
