About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team in Santiago, Chile. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software meets specified requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and provide feedback on product quality.
• Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on quality and testability.
• Automate repetitive testing tasks to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Ensure that software products meet industry standards and best practices for quality assurance.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
• Provide clear and concise test reports and summaries to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in QA methodologies and tools.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: You have proven work experience (min 3 years) in Mobile App Testing and Web Browser Testing. (Additionally, if you have experience in payments domain then it’s a plus)
• Tech Stack: Ideally, you have knowledge of following points:
• Programming Language & Frameworks: Basic knowledge in Java, JavaScript, C#, TestNG, Selenium.
• Databases & OS used: MySQL, MariaDB, Windows, Linux, RedHat, CentOS
• Tools & Utilities: Notepad++, Git, MySQL client, SoapUI and Postman
• Debug & Test Programs: FinSim and PostMan
• Protocols: JSON, SOAP and REST
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
