About This Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to take ownership of quality assurance from test design to release gating and production observability. You will work closely with a small team and be responsible for shaping testing strategies, designing automation infrastructures, and ensuring quality across the software development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Design and maintain integration test harnesses and contract tests for financial flows.
• Lead testing automation that regulates code deployment, including areas like onboarding and payment initiation.
• Establish a balanced testing strategy using both manual and automated methods.
• Develop CI/CD quality strategies and lead incident investigations.
• Guide test architecture design and mentor mid-level QA engineers.
• Utilize AI tools and agentic coding resources in daily work.

What We're Looking For

Must-have

• 6-10+ years of production test automation experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C# for automated testing.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with API and UI testing.
• Familiarity with functional and non-functional testing.
• Use of coding tools and AI in testing practices.
• AWS experience in development contexts.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Nice-to-have

• Contract testing experience for partner integrations.
• Experience in mobile app test automation.
• History of leading quality programs.
